Ostional Olive Ridley Arribada
$Tens of thousands of olive ridley sea turtles nest at Ostional on a roughly monthly cycle — one of the most extraordinary natural events on the Pacific coast.
Ostional sits just north of Nosara. The arribadas (mass nestings) happen roughly monthly and last several days. The village manages access carefully — go with a local guide and pay the village fee.
