Ostional Olive Ridley Arribada
$Tens of thousands of olive ridley sea turtles nest at Ostional on a roughly monthly cycle — one of the most extraordinary natural events on the Pacific coast.
Ostional sits 8 km north of Nosara. The arribadas (mass nestings) happen roughly monthly and last several days. The village manages access carefully — go with a local guide and pay the village fee.
