Wake slowly.
Let the day arrive through the trees.

Mornings here start with light moving through the canopy and the howler monkeys somewhere up the hill. Coffee on the terrace, a walk before the heat, nowhere you need to be yet.

Movement and rest

Practice is part of everyday life here.

Nosara has long been a place people come to move and slow down. There are open-air studios, teacher trainings, and quiet retreat centers close to the homes.

Then the walk to the water.

Playa Guiones is a long, open beach break, and most days there are waves for a first lesson and for people who have surfed for years. Mid-tide, a board under your arm, sand still cool from the night.

We can set up lessons with local instructors, have boards brought to the house, or plan a paddle up the Nosara river instead.
